One of the top Russian players in his age group. Akhmadullin was only able to get into one game at the PSK cup in Belarus but he made an impact on the scoresheet notching 3 primary assists in the process.
Already has good size at 6’2, he uses it well down low to sheild off defenders. He is a great playmaker that can seemlessly find an open man and feather a pass onto their stick. Could improve his skating but there’s time to do that before his draft date. Reminds me a bit of Jason Spezza - he could be in consideration for the first two rounds come 2025. Should be an interesting follow moving forward.
