Pavel Buchnevich
"Pavel Buchnevich The Fake"
I was unsure if I should make a thread for this guy, but I decided to do so. His stats are very pedestrian, but he’s 6’3 190 and can absolutely fly. Only in his first year of junior. I don’t think he’s much of a scorer, but he’s decent in all zones, and maybe you get a fourth liner out of him. Can play center or winger. If you are targeting potential fourth line role players later in the draft when there aren’t many players who profile to make the NHL in a scoring role, he might be one to look at. Central Scouting has him #164, so they’ve started to take notice also and view him on the NHL Draft radar. I think he’ll start getting more attention as we get closer and closer to the draft. Committed to St. Cloud State for 2025-26. Has 3+7=10 points in 34 games.
