He's got a projectable middle 6 game that can adapt to most styles of play. Should be a very solid NCAA player who could be a good pro if his game develops further. Will be following further as he goes along at UND. Wonder if he plays another year of junior before heading off to Grand Forks.

Good player. Offense hasn't really popped off, but he still has the profile to be a good defensive player with the details, the size, and skating. He's not the crazy athletic specimen of Belle, but goes about things quieter and gives you decent shifts.

Think he could be a fourth line center in the NHL, if things go right for him over the next 4-5 years. Has a good profile for that. Rounds 3-5 for the draft I think. You won't hear a lot about him from the public lists, but I have a feeling NHL teams will value him.

USA Hockey wrote an article claiming he broke a combine record for some sort of jumping test (the article is poorly written grammatically, so hard to tell exactly which). This was a random testing day in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting. Sounds like this is a typical activity that NHL CS does, but was news to me.

Anyway, might ace the combine, if invited. Probably won’t be, but has a chance.
