Born in France, playing in Switzerland. Small kid that has could see himself as a potential NHL draft pick in the future. Not often kids out of France are looked at as potential NHL draft selections so let’s hope this kid bucks that trend.

I see Monarque has come stateside to play for Mount St. Charles 16U this season - he's currently their tied leading scorer per EP and also was on the roster for the USHL Fall Classic. Pretty impressive after already being the only 15 year-old regular in Swiss U20-Elit last season.

Anybody catch him in action since coming over either in prep or tournament games?

Definitely a player to keep an eye on, he has a great shot, and some offensive skill in general. I don't think he's going to be a high pick, but he could get drafted.
