Probably the top name out of the Ottawa region for the 2024 OHL draft, Alex McLean looks like a promising prospect moving forward. He is a smart kid with great vision - he is able to manipulate defenders with his great puck skills and has the vision to find open teammates with ease. He has been one of the ahe groups top offensive performers from a young age. Let’s see if that can continue moving forward.

I guess we’ll see how things play out for the kid.

Was just about to post this in the thread about the defenseman prospect that GS just posted.

Then again they simply seem to be one of the elite orgs in the country right now regardless.

An update: Alex Mclean broke the tournament record with 29 points in 9 games. Beating Ryan Roobroeck’s tournament record set last year.

This guy might be the #1 or #2 pick in the OHL this year. Elite 200ft player. Early top 5-10 candidate in his draft class barring any significant setbacks

I think Wassilyn is the clear cut lock to go number 1. McLean likely goes anywhere from 3-10.

Would agree with both statements... Play has dipped a bit recently... Wassilyn has separated himself in the last 2 months
