Ok, just to be clear before other Canucks fans bash me, I don't hate the guy, but with his contract up this season and Las Vegas coming to pluck a lot of players, can he find a contract somewhere? Or is his career over?

He just doesn't look all that good anymore, but maybe there's a team out there who might value his experience?

We're seeing teams pass on veterans for youth, you would have thought Ruutu or Higgins would have got a contract for this year.

I think he either retires after this year or he's playing in the AHL.

He looks done. I wouldn't be all that surprised if he finishes the year in the AHL like Higgins last year. He might get a PTO next year, but I doubt he gets signed

It's a contract year for Burr, one would think he'll try to pick it up in the latter half of the season, if he does he'll sign on with a contender or the Habs for cheap.

He's having a bad start though for sure.

It's becoming a younger and younger man's game. Seeing a lot more players age 33 getting pushed out in favor of. 20 year old.

That's why all of these Ufa contracts that expire when the player is age 36 is going to bite them in the final 2 years of the deal.

GM's have to decide if the value and production of the player along with the teams goals are worth eating 2 bad years of a contract.

He's a fourth liner / 13th forward at this point. So whatever contract that's worth

If he has another season like last year, he's going to likely get more interest as a PTO player, than a guaranteed deal.

I'd hope the Flyers give him a PTO look if they lose Raffl in the expansion draft.

No thanks. Lindblom can fill Raffls role next season and the refs hate us enough as it is.

Plus Raffl will be one of the 7 forwards protected probaby.

Seems headed for PTO territory if he wants to keep playing.....could earn a one-year deal somewhere just above the league minimum...but will need to pick it up this season for that to happen....but he's been a great Canuck who scored some of the biggest goals in franchise history.

His skating is done but his hockey IQ and decision making with the puck are still very top 6ish.

700k in a 13F role would be a smart pickup.

1M for 1 year. He can still kill penalties and the like. People need to damper their expectations.
