OT: Buffalonians, What MLB Team Do You Root For?

Ditto on the Orioles. (We now live in Bodymore, so that's an added bonus). Like the Parra trade.

Agree that MIN/BAL would probably beat CLE or PIT in the poll due to the long-term Rochester affiliations.
Orioles fan here as well living in Baltimore. I live in Highlandtown. There is a huge contingency of Bills and Sabres fans around here. Myth and Moonshine is a Bills bar in Canton/Fells Point. Facebook me Kevin Squier and I can hook you up with the Charm City Bills Backers group.

Born and raised in Buffalo and lived there until I was 31. My dad didn't have a favorite team but he hated the Yankees with a passion so I am happy to say I hate them as well. When I was 11 in 1982 I decided to root for the Orioles in the playoffs and they lost in the ALCS but stayed my team. The next year they won the World Series with Cal Ripken, Jr., Billy Ripken, Earl Weaver, Rick Dempsey, Eddie Murray, Scott McGregor...and I've been an O's fan ever since! Back to the playoffs!

Living in the Falls when I was little, I was all about the Blue Jays. I remember being a huge John Olerud fan and meeting Robbie Alomar one day. We moved to Illinois when I was 10. My Sabre fandom came with (that was just in my blood); my Jays fandom not so much, and shortly thereafter, I became (and have since remained) a Cubs fan.

If it was a best 2 of 3 we would've won. They have arguably the greatest money pitcher in history and we were unfortunate to have to face him in a one off. Worst part is that if Familia had only walked the guy instead of getting lit up they PH for MadBum and we have a chance in the 9th. As much as this season was far more successful than anyone could've reasonably expexted given all the injuries losing like that hurt. Ranks with Pendelton, Sosccia and Molina as the all time gut punches in Mets history.
