Would probably need to be around the deadline with a Ennis coming back to the lineup.

What would Buffalo need to add?
What do Sharks need?

Seems like Boedker isn't working in San Jose (it's still early I know).

Figure this could be like a Hagelin/Perron deal from last season.

Normally I would say yes but Ennis' cap hit is a dealbreaker here. We can't afford it.

Isn't Ennis out until mid-January? Sharks aren't likely to trade Boedker for someone currently injured especially given the Sharks current injury situation. If Ennis had been healthy this season and last season, I'd probably be more intrigued but not with his current status and where the Sharks are with injuries right now with multiple guys out.

Like other Sharks' fans, I'd be interested but I don't think we can make the cap work. We could only call up certain players from the AHL bc we're so close to the cap this year. I don't think it's going to be much better next season. I'd suggest adding Wingels or Karlsson from the Sharks with some kind of small add from Buffalo (since we have players in the AHL who could probably fill their roles) but I don't know what kind of players Buffalo needs.

I know. I looked that up before I posted. 600k is a big deal for us this year and possibly next. I don't know if you missed it but we have not been able to call up some of our young AHLers (e.g., Meier, Goldobin) bc we are so close to the cap. I'm not sure they would have been called up IAE but we did not have the cap space to do so. We had to call up cheaper AHLers.

Ennis would be a nice player on the Sharks. He just doesn't seem to fit with GMTM/Bylsma.
