Imo the Sabres need to make a trade they find painful. That means one or two of their core guys has to go for depth. This cannot continue along the same path year after year. Their core isn’t a bunch of inexperienced players.

Remember after the McEichel draft their fans claimed they "We're years ahead of Toronto in their rebuild and Babcock made a mistake when he chose the Leafs over the Sabres"

Kevyn Adams will have been Sabres GM for 5 years in June. He's gone through 3 coaches and traded away players like Eichel, Reinhart, Montour without significant improvement to the team. How he still has a job is beyond me.
Usually a gm gets 2 coaches, one from the previous regime and one from his own choice

It’s not even like Adam’s has made impressive moves, he sits on cap space and assets, and doesn’t have that many winning trades.

And from the looks of it, if he ain’t fired now, it might be a while ala Mike Sullivan from Pittsburgh. At least that guy has 2 cups to point to.

He should never have been given the job. Not with 1 year in management after being an assistant coach for them. Sabres were like 8 years out of the PO at that point. Could not afford another 1st time GM, especially one with limited experience. Botterill, you could understand that move as he was with Pitt's group for a decade before getting the GM job and Buffalo was only 5 years out of the PO at the time for him to turn it around.

Is Buffalo missing anyone ?

I think Buffalo needs better defensive players, what do Sabre fans think they need ?

Player(s) who could help the Sabres, aside from top end players, highly unlikely to be available, who would help Buffalo ?

At this point you can't help but feel bad for Sabres fans. I've never seen the Sabres players look so souless like their existence was pain.

Honestly what do you even do from here?

They lost 18 in a row a couple years back, I don't remember the exact year, I want to say 2022 because I think Covid was over and fans were back but regardless they have done this before
