I'm glad they lost again after the owner showed up. It's a nice FU.
Hiring Lindy Ruff is from the same philosophy as hiring Kevyn Adams.Sabres need to fire Adams for thinking Ruff was the solution
He's the only experienced coach desperate enough who would take the job. What was the point of hiring Lindy Ruff again?
I mean was that Adams that thought Lindy was the solution or was that the owner?Sabres need to fire Adams for thinking Ruff was the solution
Prepare the players for the arrival of Scotty Bowman. What was the point of hiring Lindy Ruff again?
Ruff is interesting
He was seen as a coach that peaked years ago then randomly had a really good year in New Jersey
Now that year looks like such an anomaly
The fact that he even made it to adulthood with the first name Kevyn is proof enough that he's defying the law of averages.Kevyn Adams will have been Sabres GM for 5 years in June. He's gone through 3 coaches and traded away players like Eichel, Reinhart, Montour without significant improvement to the team. How he still has a job is beyond me.
Until Pegula steps back the team is done. Buffalo needs a hockey guy for president of operations.Vancouver fans thought that Aquaman was awful and now he looks like a genius
Pegula's not selling, so you'd hope he realizes he has to run the Sabres more like the Bills and has a moment like Aquillini
Hire the right people and leave matters to them
They decided not to go out and get a veteran pro to pair with him and are reaping the rewards.I dont think enough is said about how terrible Owen Power is, and how much the Sabres needed to hit on that 1st overall pick
he'll go to another team and blossom like Reinhart didI dont think enough is said about how terrible Owen Power is, and how much the Sabres needed to hit on that 1st overall pick
He fell into good front office hires there. He also made the Rex Ryan hire when he first bought the team which screams like a lot of his Sabres moves. It's odd how NFL Pegula is significantly more well-regarded than NHL Pegula. Product aside, I can't remember negative national news about him wrt the Bills.
Well he did train extensively in aggressive home defense at a young age......The fact that he even made it to adulthood with the first name Kevyn is proof enough that he's defying the law of averages.
