Well, people that are soft and play hockey sometimes like to have someone to protect them so they can play a way they are usually uncomfortable with because they're cowards. As well with the moral at an all time low it would do us well to have a guy who the players like, has a great attitude and works every shift in the lineup. The team is relatively the same as last year, they should be a presidents trophy candidate again, what's missing....heart, attitude and cohesiveness. The team is soft as butter, if Rempe makes everyone an inch taller and lightens the mood in the dressingroom it helps. I can't explain it any more than that and I'm not sure if you played any type of junior or pro hockey but having someone who has your back matters, it always has in hockey and there's no stats that can prove or disprove it, just statements from all the players in all pro leagues. We are exactly back to where we were with regards to toughness when Panarin got rag dolled, not for nothing Trochek got beat up last night too and crickets.
