If the offense struggles early, this could turn into a blowout quick. Let's say Tre plays out of his mind and locks down one of Lockett or D.K, as much as that's possible. Who on our defense is gonna stop the other one? And if we go zone heavy, I can't see the D line getting enough pressure to either prevent Wilson from picking us apart or keeping him in the pocket

There appears to be no good games for Milano to miss. Bills banking on the time off getting him healthy so he doesn't limp through the entire season. This is a ripping the band-aid off moment. I do not have high hopes for tomorrow. But in some ways, it makes the game easier to watch. If we lose it won't feel like the Titans/Chiefs games because I do not have any belief that we can hand with their strengths. It amazes me how the defense regressed to this degree. Makes you wonder how slim the margin actually is between a good defense and average/bad defense.

The Seahawks have a God awful defense. Yeah they got DK and Lockett....Diggs and Brown are just as good a duo when healthy.

I think they take this one.

Russ is a much better QB than Allen, tho. I think we have a chance since this game is on the east coast, but wouldnt be surprised if it goes the same route as Tenn (score wise).

This is the best time for him to go on IR. He only has to miss 3 weeks -- this week, next week against ARZ and then the bye. While losses are never good per se.....losses to inter-conference teams hurt FAR less than intra-conference losses for tiebreaker purposes.

So Milano misses 2 interconference games and then is hopefully back by the time we play the Chargers. If he's not fully healthy then, shut him down for the Chargers and Niners and bring him back hopefully at full strength for our last 4 games....all of which are in-conference.

I want Milano back next year. I dont want to committ long term, but he's a beast when healthy. Clearly our best LB.

I agree with the strategy. Let's lean on Josh and the offense the next two games and give time for our defense to heal up for the final stretch.

These are the games I want to see growth from Allen. He struggles against top tier competition, and I think a lot of that has to do with the pressure. He just needs to mature as a QB. The potential is there.

If its Week 1-4 Allen then the difference is negligible. I don't think Russ will keep up this pace like Mahomes did 2 years ago. The atrocious D will do them in. And they ar4 always a team with injury problems every year it seems.

Considering we finally had our first successful run attack game with BOTH RBs and Josh is now facing a super weak D I know we can keep up and keep the D off the field. We just need to be more efficient in the red zone. I know Josh NEVER throws picks inside the 20 but at some point you need to open it up. The increase in TDs vs INTs instead of just a chance for a chance at 3 will make up for it.

Seattle has given up most of their yards through the air. But if the Bills can run the ball at will and have long sustained scoring drives then anything is possible and the game could come down to the last drive.

Diggs is great - perfect for this offence - but i take thier group overall.

Metcalf is nothing short of a phenom. I hated the idea of him @9OV - but how good would he have looked with the R2 that year? It's always easy with hindsight but the Bills had massive interest in him.

Lockett is also an incredibly under rated receiver too IMO. Hes a clear legitimate WR1 on many teams.

Then you have Wilson throwing to them - clear MVP candidate thus far & as much as Josh has improved - Wilson is in a totally different echelon.

Bills will do INCREDIBLY well to win this one. Both sides are going to have to play lights out. I worry any time Milano isnt healthy too.

I think Browns injury has really hurt the offense. Hopefully today we can see Jakes potential!

It has. Since Brown was the clear #1 last year, teams started out not knowing how to cover him and Diggs at the same time. Allen fed off of that, and did a great job spreading the ball around.

Once JB got dinged up, Allen fell back into older habits of locking on to Diggs and not taking what they gave him, got easier to defend.

While true, we get Jamal Adams back in today, plus this will be Carlos Dunbar's first game with the team. Pass rush is the Seahawks biggest problem, and both of them are a big help to that. Josh has to have the game of his career to give the Bills a shot.

Oh man, Adams is a beast. He's going to help that pass rush tremendously. Any word on whether y'all plan to re-sign him?

I haven't heard it discussed all that much since he's been out for 5 weeks and the only topic around him has been the injury. I know Pete and John Schneider both love him, and John paid a pretty penny for him, so I'd assume they want to keep him long-term. We'll see how he looks after the injury since groin stuff can be nagging. My guess is that it'll come down to money like it usually does with big names.

Seriously, these are two fairly even teams. Josh Allen just needs to play like he did for the first 4 weeks and the bills have a very good chance of inning.

It’s also football, where even terrible teams can beat the best...absent career days.

also Allen has beaten better defenses (that were also lead by Jamal Adam).
