Does anyone know what Ducks cap situation is? I mean people are throwing ridiculous contracts at the Ducks when they have 50 grand in space.

Montour is 3.3 mill Ristolainen is at 5.4

This. I can't imagine the Ducks would want to pay that much more for a player that is not noticeably better (and may not be better at all).

The problem is we aren’t making the Salaries work for Ristolainen. He’s not worth bringing in when we have forward issues. Not a defensive issue.

You’ve got to be joking. Montour isn’t going to ask for a 2.1 million dollar+ raise by end of Next season which Ristolainen is being paid.

That’s more than Lindholm. I would trade Montour so fast if he was asking for that. And it’s not going to be for Ristolainen.

I don't like the Ducks . I find them a dirty team and Edmonton playing them as much as we do the dislike is putting it very mildly so you know when I say I would take Montour it not me being a homer .
