NTC aside, curious to see what others think of the value here.
I’m aware, but it can be negotiated. I know that’s what the Sabres did with ROR in 2015.Ehlers can't sign an extension until July 1st, draft is in 5 days
No it can't, that's the point. It's not like Buffalo doesn't have the assets, just wait until July 1st then talk to Ehlers legallyI’m aware, but it can be negotiated. I know that’s what the Sabres did with ROR in 2015.
Don't like it for the Sabres...
I don't see either Ehlers or Iafallo as a pressing need for Buffalo, and I think signing Ehlers to an extension would turn out about as well as the Okposo and Skinner signings
Yeah I'm not saying I would or wouldn't do the above deal, just gauging value. But if Adams is in the market for a top-6 forward, the deal is likely going to look something like this.Same. Doesn’t address their need for a center, it actually makes it worse and it moves one of their best trade chips in making that whole bigger.

Not moving 110A for a 1-2 yr rental.

He's not tradable with that contract and injury history imoObviously not for the 11th overall pick, but what would Buffalo give up for Josh Norris?
Buffalo had no interestObviously not for the 11th overall pick, but what would Buffalo give up for Josh Norris?
Why?As a Jets fan, this is the type of deal I’d strongly consider.

I think the main target is to reach the playoffs and improve the roster.Shouldn't one of the objectives this off-season be to clear a roster spot on the wing in order for one of our high-octane prospects to be able to become the next Ehlers but on an ELC?
That’s a 25-26 plan when Skinner’s buyout becomes much more of an issueShouldn't one of the objectives this off-season be to clear a roster spot on the wing in order for one of our high-octane prospects to be able to become the next Ehlers but on an ELC?
LMAO, you know the NHL can’t control the tampering and even they know it. That’s why there were giant contracts handed out in free agency a minute after it started. That’s why they gave up and added the “Negotiation Period. I don’t see why you are trying to make it a big deal. It’s a fantasy board have a little fun.No it can't, that's the point.
