If he improves at all next year this will be a steal in year one.
It gives the Sabres fabulous team control of key players. Love it.
Looked like a bad deal for Chicago back then and might end up looking even worse.Very good deal. Will be a steady top 4 and has some upside. Trading Nylander for him was a very shrewd move.
You get 3 x 2.5, you get 3 x 2.5, everyone gets 3 x 2.5
Should be a good deal. He certainly will have many opportunities with the McCabe and Ristolainen departures
Nah, this deal should age quite well, not an overpayHe was getting the opportunities last season. Like Dahlin, he was looking lost playing for Krueger, but looked much better with Granato. He was paired with Dahlin, and thrown in to every situation along with Dahlin. He’s the perfect partner for him. Can skate, smart positioning and stick, and sneaky when it comes to jumping in. He’s very “quiet”, which is perfect for any dman.
It’s perhaps an overpayment of $500K as it stands, but it’ll be fine come next season.
This is very quickly going to become a steal as he becomes a legitimate #2 in the next couple years
Nah, this deal should age quite well, not an overpay
What a steal!.
3 years and only 2,5?? nuts.
My fellow Finns are agreeing to discount contracts.
-which actually, from a nonesport point of view, is gooood.
i'm not much of capitalist so, its cool that this happens.
