If Tyler Johnson was not picked off waivers by any team with, what I assume, is a league minimum contract then what gives him any reason to believe a team will sign him?
Injuries are probably his best shot to possibly catch on with another team.If Tyler Johnson was not picked off waivers by any team with, what I assume, is a league minimum contract then what gives him any reason to believe a team will sign him?
I know it’s tough to back, but if Johnson is adamant on continuing to play, why doesn’t he agree to go the AHL for a bit and try to dominate? Are his odds of getting back to the NHL that way really any less than just hoping some franchise suddenly shows interest when none did right now?
