News on Tarasenko being a name out there. That would be great for Krech for Xmas, he is at 7.5 cap, 26 yrs old 6' 225 lbs, right winger. Four years left on his contract, 5 including this year. This is his last year without a NTC. Chia also under the gun to make some waves, they need a puck moving dee.

Krug would be the large impact deal that Chia needs to make to keep confidence in him high. Who could we get for Krug though? The Nuge is doing decently with McDavid. Not sure they would want to give him up, but if they are primed to do so now is the time. I don't see much past Ryan that we would want for a Krug trade, anything else would make Boston weaker.

Tarasenko would be the type of player I’d want the Bruins to go after if they were to trade Krug. He’d definitely solidify the top 6. How are the Blues at LD?

this one is crazy

matt murry
Kris letang {2.25 million retained}
and jake guentzel
and a first round pick
for
tukka rask
torey krug
Charlie McAvoy

I think matt murry has proven to be the playoff goalie we want... and maybe with a great backup like halak he will rebound to firm

letang has had his health issues and is a bit of a risk... but hes a win now guy and we are a win now team

guntzel can help us with center depth and obviously was a big time playoff stud last year

we can flip the pick for more help if we need it... or just give it to our draft team cause they have been great recently

as for Pittsburgh... I think they need to be worried that murry isn't quite all that and a cup of tea. they still feel they are in win now mold but they need a big shakeup and getting McAvoy would be huge for them.

anyhow something to think about as they sink to the bottom of the standings looking for a huge shakeup and we are desperately injured and in need of some warm bodies

HOLY CRAP, Bruins get pennies and Pitt get thousand dollar bills if players were money...Let's throw Pastrnak in too!!! Do it get any worst than this??

Poor- Boouwmeester, Carl Gunnarsson, Joel Edmundsson, two over 30, one is a journeyman at best it appears. They have a young LD in Vince Dunn that might turn out to be pretty good, but they could use some Torey Krug. I don't think Krug alone gets that deal done, though. Tarasenko would be a great pickup.

DISCLAIMER: I watch the Blues semi-regularly, but am no expert here. It just seems to me that they would really benefit from Torey Krug's skills on the backend.

Man Tarasenko would be the perfect pick up. Would the blues really consider trading him? I would give up a big package for him. He is signed long term at a reasonable cap too.

This is a filthy top 6.

I'd love Tarasenko, but STL is going to be looking for a return similar to what we'd want for Pastrnak.

They’re the same age and both have high end skill. The Blues power play is ok but would get a boost from Krug. Out of every one for one trade I’ve thought of, this one makes the most sense. Tarasenko has more years left on his contract so we probably would have to add. I’m bad at proposals but I’ll give it a shot.

Boston: Tarasenko

St. Louis: Krug, JFK/Cehlarik, 2019 2nd

I added the 2nd because I don’t know if those prospects have enough value alone. I realize it might take a better player or prospect.

Tarasenko is Pastrnak basically

If I’m St. Louis you would need to send him back

If I’m Armstrong I’m offering Bozak for Krug

I am thinking STL would want a lot more than that for Tarasenko?

I love Tank, but he's another LH RW. Thought we were looking for natural RW's?

I'm almost thinking Krug, Bjork, and 1st? Is that too high? Tarasenko is arguably a top 5 RW in the game. Hell, the Blues might want more than that if they decide to move him.

For Tarasenko I would want DeBrusk, Carlo, Bjork, and Vaakanainen

I’d include Boumeister hoping Sweeney hasn’t realized he is cooked

Honestly IDK if that gets it done. You may need to take out the 2nd's and make it another 1st.

I would like to see how Bjork - Krejci - Pastrnak and Marchand+DeBrusk do before the Bruins sell the farm for a top 6 forward.

Yeah Tarasenko is a dream come true. Which probably means it is a total dream.

The whole speculation is Dreger, so take it for what it is worth. We make good trading partners and the youth have been on display and done pretty good.

I’d give them this package. It hurts a little more but Tarasenko is a huge step up from Bjork. I would be more hesitant to give up one of the young defensemen.

Pastrnak. They have so many guys that can play defense on the left side and I don’t think the team misses a beat. I haven’t looked at the percentage of offense Pastrnak has factored into so far this year. They need better depth scoring if they want to get anywhere in the playoffs this year. Bjork could be that guy, but Tarasenko would be that guy.

Pasta has factored into 43% of the goals for Boston this year. Only Bergeron is higher at 45%

I like Bjork and think he’ll be a good player, but Tarasenko would be worth it. The Bruins need another player that can put the puck in the net consistently. I don’t think they’ll go very far with Nordstrom on the 2nd line, it’s like Paille on Krejci’s line.
