I'm also with @Kovalev27 in the sense that Kakko looks like a guy who is nearing the brink of being dangerous. You can clearly see it.

Just need Kreider, Strome and Zibanejad to get going, Chytil and Panarin to come back and if we continue to defend and breakout quick like we are we should be fine. I agree with the Kakko sentiment, it's getting closer and closer with him.
Something that hasnt been mentioned is that Hajek has actually done well in a tough situation coming in and playing well on his off side after not being with the club last year.

Honestly, we're not great but "abysmal" is absolute horse shit. We're not only in all of the games we play, we're quite often the better team. Should have beaten Boston last game and could have even beaten them this game. We're not getting dominated or even really outplayed most games. Really only the first Islanders game were were dominated and there were probably three more game where we were clearly the worse team. Everyone's pissed about the record but there's no reason to make shit up just to trash the team.

We’re losing because of Mika Zibanejad anything else is silly. He’s THE guy. The Powerplay the mins the wings are dead next to him. We’re losing one goal games and our best player and IMO he was our best player last year and number one center has 1 goal.

we’re the youngest team in the league if the vets don’t produce it’s asking a lot out of the kids to hold it together.

Strome sucks. We know that. Chytil is hurt. Mika has to put up points get his wingers involved he’s trying to sign a 10 mil contract? These losses are on him. Sorry but that’s reality

No. I don’t think that at all. However, I think you should look at the surplus of youth we have at W and look at including one or two those pieces in a package for a C.

bottom 5 in scoring, bottom 5 in PP. 4 wins . NINE losses. . Every game is as boring as watching flys f***. We're playing like ass. We're not getting blown out, big whoop. We still suck. Top 10 pick here we come.

The only reason I can see for not moving on right now is COVID. Probably can’t bring someone in to replace him mid season.

Something has got to give with all of these one goal losses. I suppose you can argue that the team has played pretty well despite the results but the bottom line is that someone needs to held accountable for the results.

When you're 4-6-3 no shit some stats will look bad. The point is not whether we're good or not, you said abysmal. They're playing better than their record, even though they're playing like a particularly good team, they're not playing like an abysmal team either. BTW, we're #7 in defense and #6 in PK. They're mediocre, not abysmal.

No, that would be HORRIBLE asset managment at this point. What do you figure the value of Kakko is right now?
 
I agree about Torts, just saying he would make this group play like men. He just isnt right for this squad. I will say he is a million times better than Quinn.

coaches in this division: Cassidy, Laviolette, Trotz... and then AV and Ruff who maybe aren't at that level but have tons of experience and have had success in this league. Then we're sitting here with Quinn. We're already in the red before the puck even drops.
