C: Krejci
RW: Horton
D: Krug
D: Boychuk
G: Rask

3rd Team

LW: Paille
C: Kelly
RW: Seguin
D: Ference

Honorable Mentions

LW/RW: Thornton, Smith, Peverley, Ryder, Eriksson
C: Kuraly, Soderberg
D: Carlo, Hamilton, K. Miller, McQuaid
G: Khudobin, Halak

I'd probably take Peverley or Ryder (or maybe even Thornton) before Debrusk at this point. Maybe over Paille too. Debrusk is going to be great, but those guys were so instrumental in that Cup run that I think it places them ahead of anyone else who isn't already ranked above them.

Almost everything else I agree with

I was splitting it by LW/RW. We've had way better RWs than LWs.

these are the best draft picks IMHO from the last 10 years... no college ufa included... other than a question mark in goal is this a team that wont be a contender? give a couple guys 2-3 years to mature but for 10 years of drafting this is one hell of a top 23 man roster

David Pastrnak Tyler Seguin Jake Debrusk
Anders Bjork Akexander Khokhlachev Oskar Steen
Zachary Senyshyn John Beecher Danton Heinen
Jack Studnicka Trent Federic Ryan Donato
Anton Blidh Jakub Lauko
Dougie Hamilton Urho Vaakanainen
Charlie Mcavoy Matt Grzelcyk
Brandon Carlo Jeremy Lauzon
Jacub Zboril
Jeremy Swayman
Daniel Vladar

D looks good, though Carlo on the 3rd pairing is a waste of talent.

Offense looks highly suspect: at least two of those players have this year...this training camp...to prove they even belong on the prospect list anymore. If Bjork and Senyshyn fall off, that leaves some gaps. Donato at 4th line isn’t going to work; he proved that here. He’s top 6 to take advantage of his skill-set or bust. A lot of the others have hardly proven themselves in the AHL, if at all.

If that team squeaked i to the playoffs it would be by riding the coattails of our defense.

If I'm going with players that were on the Bruins in the last decade but taking them at their peek:

Lucic-Savard-Seguin
Recchi-Bergeron-Pastrnak
Marchand-Krejci-Wheeler
Debrusk-Kelly-Peverley

Chara-Seidenberg
Krug-Boychuk
Carlo-Mcavoy

Had to squeeze in Carlo on the left but Ference and Grizz are great choices too.

If we’re taking them at their career peak, both Jagr and Iginla would find these lists curious. I’d bump Recchi to the top line, and Lucic to the third.

If we’re taking them at their Bruins peak, I like your list, but would swap Horton for any of Wheeler,Debrusk, or Peverley. I disagree with mentioning Grizz as a good choice on an all decade team. If he was that good, we would have no trouble parting with Krug right now.

I guess it also depends on when in the decade this all-decade team is competing. If it was early, I’d bring back the Thornton, Campbell, Paille line as our fourth....it was one of the best fourth lines I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. If it was now, well the game has completely changed and your fourth is better suited.
