nice to see them show up and play a full 60 for a change.

and the upside to bergy and lucic being out, a bit of line shifting.

I think it is no coincidence that the team had a lot more jump in a game where the lines were shuffled. Pure speculation on my part, but I get the sense the guys have been wanting to freshen things up and are a little frustrated with how unwilling Claude has been to put certain guys together.

I mean how crazy is it that Krejci has never spent any significant time on a line with Marchand? Or Smith? Or Loui? 3/4 of our top 4 wingers have never spent significant time playing with our number 1 center. and how many times in their 6+ years on the team together have Bergy and Lucic played together on a line? That is baffling.

i'm not sure that i'm buying yet. might just be a temporary mirage. but if it was the line shifting that led to this result, I hope we see a lot more of this in the future...
