Bruins 2025 IIHF Tournament Discussion- USA CHAMPS!

USA impressive. Didn't think they'd prevail going in.

Hey that USA goalie looks ok. Sure folks bummed their tiki torches and pitchforks go back in the woodshed for a bit.

Meh . . .Trade bate; I'm sure Korpi can shoulder a playoff load. <inserts facepalm>

Hopefully this tournament is a huge boost to Swayman's confidence going into next year.

Did Lorhei play today? I didn't really notice him.
Kevin Dean Bruins former assistant coach and now a Chicago Black Hawks assistant coach can be seen in back of team USA running the defense

So he did what you would expect he went with his Blackhawks LD Alex Vlasic as a third pair over Lohrei

I’m sure Sweeney loved it

Let’s see if he scratches Lohrei again tomorrow

Peeke played second pair with Brady Skjei and was very good entire series

They made the final with Mason watching, looks like Vlasic is the right choice

If he was with the Bruins as assistant coach Lohrei
Would have played and they’d have made finals

That’s why I liked coaching - my kids could get all the prime power play and I could screw over the kids or parents I didn’t llke. Damn I miss those days and all that F’n power;)

Lohrei has lost his spot to Zeev Buium, not Vlasic. Vlasic is highly thought of by
USA Hockey and its his second year in a row on the team. Buium came off I Denver to a regular role on Minnesota. Both are more talented defensemen than Lohrei.
