Bruins 2025 IIHF Tournament Discussion- USA CHAMPS!

our boy Lorhei with a goal and an apple against those silly lilttle Danes

work on strength and positioning and he's going to be a really good #4 for this team, could even grow into the #3 we desperately need

Im going to disagree here. Lohrei was benched for the college kid after making multiple positioning mistakes. What's strange about Lohrei to me is that he can make two really bad positioning decisions that are completely different on the same shift, he will get caught wide early in a shift and the on the same shift or a little later he will be caught narrow and beat wide. I love the kids offensive skill and puck movement but he still has no idea where to be in the NZ and in his own zone, his entry denial suffers because of all this. I'm worried about him. Unless he figures some of this stuff out, it's going to be difficult to roll him out for another -40 season.

I missed the game, a 5-0 drubbing and his 1 and 1 lead me to believe he had at least a decent game, was he benched in this one or another?

If he can carry his play from the end of the season with the Bruins and this tournament into next year, it will be MASSIVE for the Bruins. I’m cheering for him.
I think having that bad back bother him the majority of the season, the 2nd move he`d made in under a year, new teammates yet again, new system, understandable why he had a subpar start

Really liked the player we saw coming down the stretch and appears he`s having a great tournament right now too which , as you suggested, I hope he carries into camp later

Finland equalizes.

Sways fault. USA room is fractured the skaters are upset at Swayman's attempt to set the goalie market last summer, raising the bar for all other goalie contracts, potentially leaving less for the skaters. Logan Cooley is leading the anti-Sway brigade apparently he's up for a new deal next summer and had plans to buy a new boat and a Ferrari but because of Sway setting the goalie market he realizes now he'll only be able to afford the new boat and he really wanted that Ferrari.
