May the best team win, simply put. Playing for bronze isnt fun, but its better to not to lose two games in a row and show the world how average you are. The bronze medalist will be happier than the silver medalist today.

The border clash only matters when it's for gold.

don't really care who wins this one. I checked out of this tournament after about 3-4 in when it became obvious Canada wasn't going to get it shit together.

looking forward to next year and a GMG between Canada and the US.

no injuries, please.

see everybody when we gather once again for the World Junior Summer Showcase.

enjoy your summer, folks.

You should have more realistic expectations.

I will always hope for a Canada win, but it's hard to expect one with the lacklustre chemistry and mediocre goaltending colour

This might actually be a better bronze game than usual. Neither the US nor Canada will probably want to lose to the other. Even the meaningless group game was fought hard.

A US v Switzerland would have been completely meaningless to the US. Sweden v Canada would probably have been a relatively easy Swedish win. But hopefully these teams will play for pride at least today.

USA's got this. Canada is just not good enough this year.

Given USA got crushed in the semis, they probably want this even more than the Canadiens. This is gonna be the better game than Sweden-Switzerland, which may be anticlimactic. A game of two teams with bad goalies is much more fun to watch than a, well, whole lot of other things.

Mikko Kaukokari and Sakari Suominen as officials.. Yikes. Expect wild, non-logical calls/non-calls all game long.

Seems like the Americans has been told to shoot, just shoot, somethings gonna get in
