Based off my experience, no one cares. This wasn’t our team of nhlers losing to Germany. No one will be mad at them. Winning a medal will still be great.

I honestly start to think that the one who suggested they lost against Germany on purpose might have been onto something. Will be much better to win the bronze than losing the gold-medal after a smackdown. That would have been nasty against the Czechs, though.

Thats just absolutely ridiculous . A Silver medal is still better than a Bronze one no matter how you look at it. Yes the Russians are likely to win the Gold no matter who their oppoent would've been but you're not losing on purpose to avoid maybe a big loss to Russia.
