Brodin with a pre-agreed extension makes a lot of sense to me. He is exactly the kind of player that Toronto needs, and, from the Wild point of view, they get a young, dynamic top 6 winger who can generally play C a whole lot better than he did tonight.

With a flat cap, trading Nylander for picks/prospects would be tougher than trading him for another current player.
