Glad Howden's doing great, this trade probably works out as a win-win despite what mainboards thought.

I see Stepan comparisons which is great because it's higher than anything he was projected to be (#3/4 C).

Saw on twitter he is not practicing today. Anyone hear an update on his condition?

It`s not an easy job to project prospects. :)
Sebastian Aho for instant was a 2nd rnd pick rnd, 5th in 2015 draft, (35th) overall, and he had 65 pts last season, and now he has 17 pts.
 
Yes Brett Howden whole interview here - maybe someone getting traded since there are other tweets and rumors that Lias has been called up?

I`m glad he is feeling better already - that is promising! :)

Well it`s strange - nothing official yet at least and Howden seems fine and is actually a day to day, and not weeks away after his last game.
 
quinn just announced howden out "few days" and because of that, ADA is scratched next game

also announced when howden "returns" ADA will be scratched the next time marc staal plays....

Also think a trade is coming. Why else bring up Lias if Howden is going to be back in a day or two? As is we have a logjam at center with plenty of short term solutions. Another possiblity is that Chytil will go down for a few games to get his scoring touch back.

Why would someone trade for a person AFTER his face went into the boards (and had to miss time)? You could be trading for damaged goods.
Why would you trade away a player AFTER his face went into the boards (and had to miss time) when his value would be low?

I don’t think OrlandK is suggesting that Howden would be the player traded. The overwhelming candidate to be dealt is Hayes, especially with the likes of Dreger and Friedman saying that the Rangers are getting calls about him.
