As Jets fan i would trade Schmidt before i would trade Dilon
I'd rather trade Dillion as Dillion and Samberg and Heinola all play the same side as well I think Samberg brings most of what Dillion is currently providing. Otherwise you are asking Heinola to start on his off-side.

You saw Dillon shift the the right and manage well. Schmidt is the guy you move for cap purposes.

I doubt the Jets make any significant trades until after a coach is hired. As a GM you try to put together a complete balanced team but the coaches style influences the player selection

One of Dillon/Schmidt seems like a luxury we can't afford with Samberg ready to go.
I agree with the opinion that the team needs to fill the coaching position before they make their moves.
Happy to keep Dillon but can see the sense in moving him.
Heinola needs to take the next step and needs the chance to do so.

On paper, the Jets have good D depth.
The recent results say otherwise.
Perhaps the new coach can get more out of them.
