I just saw the "hit" yesterday...what a absolutely brutal call. And it wasn't even a Major penalty it was a MATCH penalty. Which means he's currently suspended indefinitely until the NHL reviews it. That had to be one of the worst calls i've seen this season.

NHL needs to rescind that immediately so it's not on his record.
Just like Zibanajed got ejected, Kreider's looked accidental I don't mind the major but to eject him IDK and obviously the Lemieux call blew. I believe there was another major penalty or ejection a week ago that was bad too right?
EDIT- It was the same ref as the Dallas game but I forget who we played. The announcers mentioned it after one of the bad calls.

It wasn't even a penalty and the league has already rescinded it.

Expecting a bouquet and chocolates or else they can shove their rescind
The worst thing thing though is that anytime anything is close with him the refs will have that embedded in their minds when making a call . That kind of stuff once it's out...it is always out whether it gets rescinded or otherwise . You cannot undo some things .

I think lemieux has potential to wear a C or an A. Hes already my favorite Ranger. Lock him up long term!

The Rangers have built a team that has snarl. The downside is that it’s going to put they in positions for more suspect calls.

The league is cracking down on a lot of stuff, and so if something is borderline, or they have to make a snap judgement call, they’re going to tend to the side of caution.

Not saying it won’t be annoying, or stupid at times, but it is something we could continue to see.

Larry Brooks told me on twitter he thinks Lemeuix is someone who should be useful.

After watching the effects of turning the other cheek all the time, I will happily trade that for this.

Why did he compare him to Anisimov?
He just picked all our 'top prospects' from that era as comparisons, just forgot about Cally. And the Hugh Jessiman (too soon to say Parise and Getzlaf say hi? Yes? Ok then.) Though Prucha was never really a top prospect, he broke onto the scene out of no where and returned to obscurity shortly thereafter.

I am very pleased with lemieuxs play, hope he's a part of our future. The team looked tougher instantly he grinds every shift and has added more offense than any of us thought he would
I think that he is intended to be a part of the future core. I think that Gorton and Quinn specifically targeted him when they made the trade. He seems to fit in with what their vision of what this team will be several years down the line.

His endurance is atrocious. It's probably sue so his body type. When he gives it 100% he's aweslme. .but he takes a ton of shifts off. Needs to work on that big time.
