Bulldogs socials just said that all home & away games are on Roger's 28 or 428. Except away games in Bramptom (they have no tv coverage).
Thanks for the update. Brampton doesn’t have a Rogers, Cogeco or Shaw? Hard to build your brand up if no one can find you on tv. I know the new Comish said better media coverage is a priority for him so I hope this come true. I’d be curious to know how many subscribes and the revenue that CHL TV gets. If you aired your games for free on YouTube or on the CHL TV you could make the case that the extra eyeballs could lead to more interest and higher attendance as the league is an attendance revenue driven league

Safe to say that Burlington is out of the running for the Bulldogs.

CHL has the game posted for tomorrow night. I get a subscription.

I think Brantford council is scheduled to have an update soon on funding options for the new arena.

It will be interesting to follow as they get further along. Project like this for sure gets done in phases, and I'd be interested to know where in the timeline the arena would be.

I thought this would be an eventual landing spot for the Steelheads, but not if the building is planned near the end of the timeline.

Let's not over react, but 4/6 guys on this D group are an absolute mess.

Very lackluster performance tonight.

Brampton is VERY good though.

The jury is out on Brantford til Christmas really. When they get Lardis, Vanacker and Jiricek they will be a different team. Still a lot of work to do with their D though.

Unknown how long they will be missing Bujold.

Last night is just a throw away. Bramptom flat out dominated them. Feel bad for Leenders. He was the only reason they had a chance after the 1st.

Was nice to see the boys still hit and fight till the end in an otherwise awful game.

Gens tomorrow is another big test
At least the Gens are also missing guys. These early season games can be tricky sometimes.

As I explained numerous times, Brampton is definitely the clear favourite in the east this year.

They have the added advantage of being at pretty much full strength to start the season.

Pretty sure we are all aware that Brampton is good. That's why they're ranked 2nd in Canada.

Nick Lardis sent back to the Bulldogs. Not sure if he will play tonight.

I hope there’s a photo of a Lardis celly after his first goal tonight with blood dripping from his face…statement goal that set the tone for the rest of the game.

Much better game. Lardis made a big difference. Defence still struggled but improved as the game went on. Thought Egorov had a very strong game and was tested often. Good to have two capable goalies.

Laval seems very likely but nothings been announced

Edit: Just read that he’s going to lavals training camp. Most recent update I could find.
Laval was expected. However there are a few possible scenarios. He stay is Laval for the season, could get sent back to the Bulldogs in the next few weeks, or Laval could keep him for half the season and return him before the OHL trade deadline. Harama is in the same boat.

If I had my choice to get one back it would be Hamara. This D is tough to watch.

Roberts is doing his best impression of a #3 D.

Chen looked not very good. They just need some guys that can win a battle and then not panic when the puck is on their stick.

They're also not going to address the D until they know what they have. I again heard last night they still believe (however slim) that they could get Hamara back.

Even if it's almost 0% chance you can't do anything until you know for sure.

Quite honestly, I’m surprised to see Chen still on the team. He has good size but he’s not very good defensively and he’s not offensive. They briefly experimented with him as a forward in preseason, which I think speaks to the uncertainty surrounding him. So far this season his game seems to be unchanged from last year.

I’m sure he’s a good person but I just don’t see the value in having him take up a roster spot.
