He was a first-round bantam draft pick by Spokane, but injuries have always prevented him from playing a full season. When he has been healthy, he often didn't get first-line ice time as Spokane has had competitive teams. He has always been projected to be a big-time scorer, and it looks like it is finally coming together for him this season as he has stayed healthy and has been relied upon more heavily offensively by the coaching staff.
