From this morning's T&G on yesterday's WorSharks loss to Springfield...

Bracken Kearns did not play, but has still not missed a game due to injury this season. Kearns was held out of the lineup because he might be needed in San Jose this week, depending on injury issues up there, and the Sharks did not want him to wind up playing four games in five days.

If the Sharks do need someone due to injuries I'm glad it's Kearns and not Pelech. It's too bad Reid is hurt (again) as I thought he might have earned himself the next call up.

I might expect if recalled he'd be in SJ today (practice @ 11am, leaving for Vancouver after) because of FAA and Canadian air charter rules, a person on a other-country initiated charter "into country" flight manifest has to be on the plane until it leaves Canadian air space. (Otherwise, he'd have to travel commercial while the rest of the team is on the charter.)

BTW, unless something has changed he'll be wearing a full face shield...he lost a few teeth (depending on who you ask it's between 4 and 6) in a game on 2/17.
