1) When in doubt out
2) no more than 40 second shift - clear the puck; get to the centerice and dump the puck

leafs don't do this and it usually comes to bite them on their ass

I don't know why there is a massive fear of icing the puck especially if you've been out there for a while. Icing it means you're out of danger for now and you get 30 secs to rest. Then take another stab at it

This is what I worry about with this young pairing. The playoffs is just constant pressure and checking. I just don't see them being able to handle it. On different pairings I can see them being okay.
