I went with Orr, Bourque, Shore, and Schmidt. Schmidt vs Esposito was difficult for me but Orr already covers Esposito's whole career in Boston while Schmidt was the man for the 1941 championship and can represent the 40s and 50s Bruins. Doesn't hurt that Schmidt was involved with the organization just short of forever. Bergeron is a good contender for that last spot as well.

Orr, Bourque, and Esposito are locks. The 4th is debatable IMO. I went with Bergeron just because I’ve been able to appreciate how awesome he is in real time for almost 2 decades at this point

Orr should be 100% in the poll. He isn’t. If there is any polls that question the credibility of polls, this is a great example.

Not sure how this isn't Orr, Bourque, Esposito and Shore.

Milt Schmidt is Mr. Bruin

Hart/Ross Cup winning captain as a player, who sacrificed 4 prime years to fight in WW2. Then built the 70s Bruins including pulling off the Espo trade with Chicago. Overall he spent 75 years in the organization as a player, coach and GM

The thing about Esposito is that post playing career, he hasn't really been around the city or organization at all. Someone like Bucyk is more of a Bruin for life.

I think that matters when you are talking a Mt Rushmore.

edit: Schmidt is another Mr Bruin for sure.

I assume most people just don't know about Milt Schmidt.

He has a Hart Trophy and was 4th in the NHL all time in points at the time of his retirement. He's an all time great. Bergeron is not even in the same class of player.
