Might be a solid puck mover but his defense was atrocious most of the time down the stretch for the Bruins. Hopefully he figures out the system and general hockey defense fundamentals during the summer.

First deal of the day I'm a little upset Washington missed out on. Decent depth defenseman on short term at a manageable price.

I'm glad to see him find a home. He did yeoman's duty in Carolina and was well liked. He seemed like a good fit for the Bruins and will hopefully continue to fill a role for them. As older PMDs go, he's a solid bargain investment.

How is this guy still playing?

Oh, you mean like when people said he had negative value? Here's the thing, when you take a player and reduce his contract and give him a lesser role, you'll be surprised how many of them can't actually perform when not placed in a role out of their league.

Lol what a legend. Love what the Bruins are doing today.

Sorry, we all can't be fans of Toronto. Wish we could all take lessons but instead teams actually, y'know, try to win the odd game.
Carolina fans know what he is - A decent PMD. Not bad. Not great. Gets the job done.

Underrated depth guy who can move the puck and is positionally sound. I would've loved to get him back in Carolina.
