I don't think you can hold a 21 year old very visibly growing into a very long body to this level of accountability. He's not a x-check the back of the head type and isn't strong enough to muscle from a slow glide, this is just gonna happen to young D unless they way out leverage someone.

I get it but Frederic is a rookie too, and Millers a beast. He just needs to learn to use his body and to get an edge to his game if he wants to be the best player he can

Right now only the Strome line is sustaining pressure. This is the time when we need the old Mika back

EVERYTHING that worked last game... they didn't even try to do this game

Everyone knew this was coming. This team isn’t good enough to beat the Bruins back to back and after a 6-2 stomping, it was our turn to revert back to our normal state and get spanked.

Both goals involve him, though the second was bad luck. It deflected off his big frame. But Lemmy got faked out for that point shot to happen.

Boston is a good team. You were expecting another blowout win? I'm not complaining. The effort and willingness are there.
It is hilarious to me that we have several posts of "what a terrible period" or the like. This is one of their better periods of the year! The other team isn't actively shitting the bed so no things don't look "great".

But this period is a great example of process over results, where a lot of reaction here is the other way around. I consider the period a success even down 2-0.

*awaits dislikes*

And as a kid rookie there's gonna be a bit of fear doing stuff like that against men.

The fans last game. So in other words, the players just got hyped and played their game. When Quinn is in charge, this is the soulless hockey we see.
