That was horrible defense. Absolutely horrible.

Miller is having a really bad period.

Both goals involve him, though the second was bad luck. It deflected off his big frame. But Lemmy got faked out for that point shot to happen.

Boston is a good team. You were expecting another blowout win? I'm not complaining. The effort and willingness are there.

We're spinning in the neutral zone again. Cassidy made an adjustment to pressure the outlet and force the high forwards to have to receive the puck out of stride. A ton of pressure just coming down on the first outlet pass and it's being flipped into the neutral zone like a hot potato. That's pretty much killed the straight line attack. Combined with a better effort to defend the lanes and middle of the ice and icing it if necessary, we're being shut down pretty well.

Quinn is back to being out coached and torn apart by Cassidy. I'll give him a chance to redeem himself but it's not looking good. Between starting the wrong goalie, clearly, and the score so far, not good.

Crash the net
Screen the goalie.
Do you have the guts to do it.

When teams decide to play this way against them, they rarely outplay the team at this style of play. Need more guys with the guts to go down there and take a beating.

Miller has been way too passive in front of the net. Got to clear the crease Jesus. I’m not one to be all “rock em and sock em!” But you need to make them think twice about going in front

I don't think you can hold a 21 year old very visibly growing into a very long body to this level of accountability. He's not a x-check the back of the head type and isn't strong enough to muscle from a slow glide, this is just gonna happen to young D unless they way out leverage someone.

Idk I just can’t stand Mika being force fed top line minutes while he just doesn’t have it. I understand the injuries maybe playing a part, but I doubt David “Stevie Ray” Quinn would ever do anything about it
