I mean it shouldn't be the case that in modern day when we know so much about concussions, the NHL needs to have individual concussion spotters to deem if players should go to the dark room after a hit. It should be automatic. Yes, it sucks if the blow is not serious and players want to stay in, but sometimes they don't know better.
