"Confidence and ability paired with elite work ethic,"
- Sheldon Keefe on his newly signed player Bobby McMann
Can you think of a player on the Leafs with a greater work ethic?
Can you think of anyone in the NHL with a greater work ethic than Bobby McMann?
I think there are lazy players, average workers, above average workers, and then there's elite-level work ethic saved for a player like Bobby McMann.
Try to prove to that anyone even touches Bobby McMann.
I would say retired NHLers Gary Roberts and Rod Brindamour might be close, but no one even touches McMann who's currently playing in the NHL.
link and full quote:
"It's his unwavering confidence along with other attributes that have allowed McMann to go from undrafted and playing in the ECHL to a consistent NHL player.
"Confidence and ability paired with elite work ethic," Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe added. "You don’t get to come into the league and play as a 27-year-old rookie without really believing in yourself, staying with it and working incredibly hard. He’s fought through a number of injuries as well. He had a hard time staying healthy.
