He makes similar to Rask, which is probably a more fair comparison. I don't see any awards in Pekka Rinne's closet. He's been good and consistent but Bob does deserve to be paid a bit more than Rinne.

Fair number. Great term. He may break the bank in 4 years, but agree with idea of shorter term for goalie, and let's see. Hope he does break the bank - would mean CBJ received elite goaltending for 4 years, which translates into Cup runs. Things starting to fall into place, even if this year's comeback from the dead ...never mind, I started the thread that we are going to get in with 93/94. Start tonight Bob!!!

Great deal, good work Jarmo. The $ is just fine and the term is perfect. We don't anything shorter hanging over the franchise and you don't want anything longer with goalies.
