Blues Practice at the Ice Zone - what to expect?

For those in the St. Louis area that have been to the Ice Zone to watch the Blues practice, what can I expect? Do players make themselves available to the fans for pics/signings after practice?

I was thinking about catching a practice down there sometime in the near future, but didn't know what to expect.

Thanks.

I've been to one but it was pre-season so I don't know if it was more crowded than usual. It was fun to watch but the players really didn't make themselves available before or after. If you get there early move to the seats that are waaaayyyy in the back. Where they come in and out. That seems to be where you will get your stuff signed....if it's going to happen.

I did go to a practice skate there about a month ago but it turns out they cancelled that practice....and didn't tell any fans  Ended up spending money at the mills I would rather of not spent.:shakehead

I think it's time for the Blues to get out of the Mills myself. North County and the Mills was going downhill fast before I left that region in 2005 after my divorce.

For weekday practices, the crowd isn't very large so seating shouldn't be a problem. The players always make themselves available as they leave the ice, very easy to get to.

:laugh: The Mills is fine, hardly a bad area at all.

This has happened to me a few times. It's best to call before you leave home.

I have been there a few times for practices, some times the players were available other times they weren't. You might be able to get pics/autos as the players leave but I am not one to follow players as they walk to their cars so idk

:laugh:I can think of much better locations then Hazelwood Mo, just saying. :sarcasm:
As a lifelong North County resident, I understand what you're saying. But again, the area around the Mills is hardly bad enough that it would require the Blues to move elsewhere. It feels more like St. Charles right there, as opposed to Hazelwood/Riverview/any other municipality that is longer what it used to be.

Well, that's not gonna be an option since I'll have a 2.5 hour drive to get there in time for their start. Just hoping they don't cancel. If they do, I guess I'll have to go along with the wife shopping.

I'll be at the Kings game the next night too.

P.S. I wouldn't 'stalk' them as they went to their vehicles in the parking lot. Was really just hoping to get some pics with some of them for my man cave wall.
