I would probably take Raymond and Zegras on the Leafs ahead of Timothy Liljegren. Shouldn’t be taken as an insult.

Nope, I would too.

My point is that Liljegren based on GAR has been more valuable than both. If those guys are good enough to be core pieces that their respective franchise will build around and are in Calder conversation, Liljegren is more than good enough to be an important piece in the playoffs, and continues to prove it.

Both of muzzin and liljegren looked bad tonight

1st goal liljegren was just sleeping in front the net

2nd all muzzin fault

4th goal ok muzzin look really bad but everything start with a really bad turnover by liljegren on neutral zone...

Unfortunately I think they demoted Liljegren and promoted Holl to the "great shutdown pairing"

its his job to cover 1 person. He covered neither the passer or shooter. Muzzin also handled the play poorly but it would have never had the opportunity to happen if Liljigren didnt turn it over
