The issue is with our injuries we have two bottom 6 players on line 2, and 2 fourth line players on line 3. Looks like Chevy needed to bring in another forward capable of playing up the lineup in for depth at the deadline.

I'm sure he tried but either the ticket was to high or the player wanted no part of this team.

Whilst true the post season is a completely different beast, there is another gear that players must shift into and seemingly this group doesn't seem to have that extra gear.

These last two outings were pretty pathetic, they wilted under the pressure and lost all composure and had almost no push back, losing is one thing, but losing the way they have is completely unacceptable.

We played pretty good the first 2 games in Winnipeg and won both. I think there is a flu bug going through the team right now. We even looked good the 1st period of this game and then it looked like we ran out energy. They all have to be better next game, everyone.

if we're being real, the 2 scheifele goals earlier were lucky bounces for us off STL players. but i agree, it is Scheifele & KC or bust. imo the middle-6 really needed an upgrade or 2 at the TDL. they're non-existent now. Vilardi being back will help the PP but not sure how much it will help lines 2-4.
