This team is truly poorly constructed.

When I see Vald, Lourdes, Springer laughing and clowning around when the other team is running up the score (not yesterdays game, other games this year), kinda shows what sort of give a S#IT level is in those players. You need players who take losing personally and get pissed. There is no doubting their skill, there are all kinds of questions about their will to compete. Bichette must be dieing inside seeing that childish horseshit.

You can be in denial and blame the Yank’s soft schedule. Fact is the Jays are pretenders. One step backward from last year

No need to overreact too much right now. Wait and see where the team is come September. Still lots of time for improvements to be made and I expect some struggling players will have heaters post all star break.

Nick Frasso is a name to watch and he could move pretty quickly thru the system.

Today 4 innings pitched, 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts.

On the season 26 innings pitched, 14 hits, 2 earned runs, 9 walks, 43 strikeouts.

With Manoah graduated, Pearson struggling to get established, Hoglund and SWR traded, and a few other recent top prospects struggling, they don't really have any highly rated pitching prospects. But with guys like Tiedemann and Frasso and a few other guys having huge seasons in the minors, it sure seems like it won't be long before they're loaded on the pitching side again.

Ya forsure.
I wonder if we trade for another quality starter at some point this season, one with some term. Then you'd have 4 quality starters with Tiedemann, who with his current performance and talent, possibly could pitch for us at some point in 2023 and you'd have a pretty stacked rotation.

I still have hope for Nate as a reliever. Probably safe to say the dream of him becoming a starter is probably dead given every time they try to ramp him up, something breaks.

Edit: got my threads confused lol. Wish the team thread was still pinned.

The Yankees have the WS locked up already barring any major injuries IMO. They don't have a single weakness right now. Not one.
