Maybe you misunderstood my post but I'm talking about a Leafs Global Moderator that strictly posts in the Leafs forum.

I'm not sure what 'ruthless' NFL games has to do with that and how that correlates to teams of other fans but you do you brother.

I was actually responding to the guy you were responding to.

Your post is bang on about the poster you are referencing.

I do apologise for using your thread as a jumping point into the convo. It in no way was a hit on you

Who's the poster? I wanna have fun with them.

I'll take it as no news.

Idk if he cleared the concussion test he would have said it imo. I understand not coming back into the game since he basically only missed maybe 5 minutes of actual time, but my hope was he cleared the concussion test at least.

Sure the Leafs won again, and beat one of the few teams higher than them in the standings, and are on pace for 120 points, and are top 5 in goals for and against in the league, and have the best powerplay and 3rd best penalty kill.

But let's see them do it against some American teams before we go crowning them anything.

Nylander was all over the place tonight creating chances. What are you talking about?

All over... like in ot when he just stop skating in neutral and and hoping his teammate get puck back to go on breakway? Hopefully sandin did a great job a little bit later.

He did it a couple of time cheating that way. So yes hes maybe get some scoring chance because he still a skilled player... but he was looking closer of phil kessel when he was in Toronto than the nylander we saw first half of the season

Such an enjoyable game, well played by both sides. Before blowing out NJ we'd been playing mediocre defense for some time despite the fact that we'd been mostly winning but this game, man it was great to see us play more like we were playing earlier in the season. Play like this and we just might do some damage in the playoffs, finally! Here's hoping.

tropical storm fans crying huge tears in their GDT its beautiful.
lots of ref blaming (they took 3 clear tripping penalties, learn the sport), and saying our defense sucks lmao. crying about being a small market team. we are in Canada. Betman hates us.
We beat them fair and square with our back up in net :sarcasm:

Until they can win a game with everyone blindfolded, they're just a bunch of fakes to me

Mannn this Cane team doesn’t allow you a lot of time to make a play. Having said that, the boys stuck with it and persevered. Really impressed with the poise of Sandin. Our fourth line was our weakest.

This is why I've been thinking puck possession approach the Leafs play needs to be dialed up with pace to match. It's all well and good to go Harlem Globetrotters against a team like New Jersey but when you play the good teams that space and time disappears in a hurry and a lot of those softer east west touch plays get crammed down your throat in a hurry. I'm really happy with the back and forth tonight with Carolina and the win is huge.
