Playoff style game tonight, thought we played well at times, didn't take care of the puck tonight though. Too many turnovers and sloppy play when we had the puck on our stick. Muzzin would help in a game like that slow down the play along the boards.

Anyways, doesn't look like we can't hang around with the big boys, that's a good Carolina hockey team, just need to be more consistent against teams like that, maybe add another piece at the deadline to help with that.

Huge statement win. Even game but we stepped up again in the end. Freddy getting goalied is typical though.

Glad the Leafs rallied in OT with Matthews gone.

Not that I’m complaining but rolling Marner and Nylander together off the start might have been fun no in OT.

A game like this is exactly why I’ve been stressing getting a forward over a dman.

Carolina plays aggressive and generates a lot of chances, but our D without Muzzin still did fine.

Where have @DavePoulin4PM and @The CyNick been?

Do those guys even have active accounts anymore? If so, they aren't showing up to me.

tropical storm fans crying huge tears in their GDT its beautiful.
lots of ref blaming (they took 3 clear tripping penalties, learn the sport), and saying our defense sucks lmao. crying about being a small market team. we are in Canada. Betman hates us.
We beat them fair and square with our back up in net :sarcasm:
All 12 of them are pretty upset.

They’re right; the reffing was bad. How did they miss the blatant knee on knee and the non penalty shot call on Kerfoot at the end of the game?

Hard to tell on that angle but it almost looks like the Carolina player's glove unintentionally softened the blow between his knee and Matthews head.

Obviously you never know with concussions but hopefully it was more of a crunch than head injury. Sore for a couple days and back to it.

If not... :help:
