There are a few staples that every concession stand should have: Beer, hot dogs, nachos, pizza.

Staples Center is taking care of the latter by adding Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza to its lineup of fast-casual, chef-driven concepts at the downtown Los Angeles home of the Lakers, Clippers and Kings.
The Pasadena, California chain will serve the exclusive pizza of Staples Center and be an official partner of the Los Angeles Kings.

That's cool. Have always found the food options lacking at Staples in comparison to other arenas.

The CPK pizzas were horrible. Hopefully these will be better.

I've always wanted to try pizza, but I never felt comfortable eating one because none of them were ever endorsed by the Los Angeles Kings! I'll pick one up and see what all the hype is.

I'll enjoy it with a few Bud Lights in my sustainable SolarCity home that is adequately insured through Mercury.

You should try McDonalds.

Automatically better than Papa John's and Pizza Hut combined.

Nice, three branches are close to me:

--West Covina Parkway
--Brea Mall
--Ontario Mills

I had that pizza at last night's game. The pizza was pretty good although the logistics of the place were shakey. You order your food then they give you a receipt with a number. So there was little or no line to order and pay but there was a mob of people waiting to pick up over to one side. It took at least 10 minutes to get my order. On the plus side, the pizza appeared to be fresh out of the oven. This was maybe 1/2 hour before game time.

Same thing happened to me, but I was told it would be at least 15 minutes until the pizza would be ready, so I just said forget it and went somewhere else. The hot dogs at Dave's Dogs were pretty good, a lot better than what Staples used to have. The buns are something like a crispy thick slice of French toast!

When Staples Center first opened they had Pizza Hut and their disgustingly greasy pan pizzas.

Shortly after that they had CPK which was an improvement over Pizza Hut but still pretty average.

I think I've had Blaze Pizza once and I know it's custom made to order, but I don't remember being all that impressed when I had it.

Then again, I'm spoiled with having a Topper's Pizza near me, and this other place in Valencia called Tomato Joe's which is also damn good.

I feel like I just posted a scouting report on pizza. Dammit, now I'm craving a pizza.

I actually miss when Staples Center first opened and they had Panda Express. The food has gone down so badly, I miss Panda Express.

I also miss the days when one stand had chicken tenders that came with tortilla chips and a spicy cheese sauce.

The BBQ place at the smoking section used to not be a BBQ place and had a pretty nice cheese steak sandwich that was great with a side of cheese sauce as well. I miss that one.

Glad Panda is gone though...would always be horrible to have someone sitting by me go there and bring that terrible broccoli or whatever it was smell to the section.
