It's weird that we were the ones on the side of saying they were playing better than others were saying lol. I still think losing this game would've been unacceptable because it's the f***ing Hawks but they were good

Yeah, the result would've been ass but I'm not gonna get on a team for carrying play and then losing the game off a puck going off someone's face versus the shot generation they had.

Team defense has been phenomenal.

I think this is probably the best it's been since probably the last time Lemaire coached here? And even he had ragtag no name guys all over that roster.

It wasn't that bad in the DeBoer years, but the offense was just so incredibly inept after that first year.

Me to Bratt after watching the replay of that shift:

That whole shift was wild.

The Nico line was absolutely buzzing, caught the Hawks in and when they went to change, Bratt just went HAM. Jack with the beautiful snipe.

Absolutely awesome sequence by those two lines.

Honestly, I'm surprised it was that high. I'm surprised they had more than an expected goals of 1.28 in total, but they did hit some posts and had an extended flurry in the final 5 minutes.

I'm just frustrated.

It wasn't actually a bad goal, but the goals he allowed the last two games (not the OT winner) were definitely pretty bad and so was one of the ones against Seattle.

I'm not trying to shit on him at this current moment, but the team play has been much more integral to our success than either goalie.

But again, both goalies are playing pretty well for Dave Rogalski era standards.

Definitely the best since Lou left. Hynes and Ruff never had them playing D this well. Lot of bad rosters TBF
