Which always circles back to the offense not being good enough.

You know, it's not that simple tho.

It's really more of a discipline thing. We start the games we lose the same way each time, and it's actually something we've done for many, many seasons and we did it today:

We are sloppy with the puck, make flighty low chance passes, turn it over at the blueline, and they get a flukey weird goal despite us not giving up many chances, and then we are basically in reverse the rest of the game until someone plays hero (jack/Nico... Today it's Mercer thank God) or doesn't.

It was the formula when it was Blackwood giving up the first goal, or Vitek, or any goalie, esp early in our season with Markstrom and the shutouts.

I think it's just maturity and being ready for every game, every night.
