Bissonnette Finds Comfort With AHL Contract

Fast forward to Tuesday and Bissonnette finally has a city he can call home for the balance of the season. Though he was once again released from his tryout, the move was made so the team could sign him to a standard player contract to keep him a Monarch until summer. Was never fond of his antics on Twitter, but when you can talk to the guy, he really is a good person. Gets a bad rap unfortunately. And hell, he's played well here.

Hockey is a struggle to me – it doesn’t come easy. I have to be prepared and work for every inch.

I respect when someone has the fortitude to persist even though it's difficult. One advantage of being in the AHL, Biz gets more minutes of game play in to get better. Good comments about Richards, as well.

Good for Paul.

He did a good job beating up Dave Dziurzynski, who earlier in the year beat on Kevin Gravel and added insult to the wound by pushing his face into the ice.

I heard him say earlier in the year he didn't really see a good chance or feel like he should fight in his 9 game try out as a Portland Pirate. I think he feels more at home as a Monarch.
