Throughout your time being a Rangers fan, who has performed irritatingly and inexplicably well against the Rangers? Somebody like Crosby, Ovechkin, Lemieux isn't really what I'm looking for. Kinda like who Clarkson used to kill the Rangers as a Devil.

Since being a fan I nominate Simon Gagne as the biggest Ranger killer.

Yours?

John Carlson used to look like Dennis Potvin against us. He's been on a bit of a cold streak recently though.

Erik Gryba. :sarcasm:

And yes this thread is inspired by the thread on the main boards.

Calson, caps scrub goalie, devils 4th line, chimera, gaborik (lundqvist killer), anyone making their nhl debut

anyone looking for their 1st NHL goal, 1st NHL Point, either in their 1st NHL game or after being called up is usually a Rangers killer.

any 3rd or 4th line scrub Carter, Bernier, Mike Rupp (scored hat trick vs Rangers) Vitale, Craig Adams, Jason Chimera, Joel Ward.

any unknown goalie (not top prospect) but some unknown from the AHL in their first few NHL games or even an ECHL goalie remember Mike Brodeur shutsout the Rangers, where is he now?? LMAO

I don't consider a player who averaged 32 goals per 82 games over the first 10 years of his career to be inexplicable when beating the Rangers. If we want to nominate Gagne, then Peter Bondra comes to mind. 37 goals in 65 games against the Rangers. Gagne had 24 goals in 59 games against us.

John Druce had 5 in 28. At least in the regular season.

PA Parenteau when he was a Pile.
An array of fourth line goons (ex: Cam Janssen, Shawn Thornton)
Jason Chimera - I swear, all of his playoff goals have come vs. us
Malkin - yes, I know he kills everyone; but he's been better than Crosby against us
John Carlson in the playoffs
Ben Bishop
Any and all ex-Rangers

I'll add Mats Sundin.

If I had to watch that cheshire cat smiles with that stupid mouthguard one more time I would slaughter someone.

Remember Adam Creighton ?

How about Doug Brown when he played with the Devils ?

All the Islanders could be classified as killers back during their glory days, but John Tonelli always seemed to score against us when we would shutdown their top line, so frustrating.

Former devil john chorske and druce

Tom Chorske, good one. Most of the Devils killed us cause we lost so many to them 99-2004. And in the late 1980's. I thought Doug Brown was a good choice, he wasn't a scorer, yet always scored an important goal when he played us. John Maclean, Sergei Brylin, Randy Mckay, Val Zelepukin, Brian Rolston, JIm Dowd, etc.
